General Health Management

The aim of the training courses of this division is to promote expertise in comprehensive health services. It includes health education and effective management of occupational health at the work place. The following courses on General Health Management are carried out both inside and outside OHTC. It also invites acting occupational physicians, mainly from among the UOEH alumni, and request that they present their own experiences to the residents followed by a discussion. photo Genaral Health Management

Health Care and Promotion

The aim of the training course of this division is to learn the diagnostic techniques and the methods of counseling through on the job training in Health Care Service; i.e., medical checkups for the university employees and the workers of the community enterprises, comprehensive physical examinations and the Health Improvement Program. Seminars on physical and mental health care are also provided.

Work Conditions and Ergonomics

The aim of the training course of this division is to acquire the knowledge and techniques to prevent occupational health impairments caused by work conditions and to create adequate work conditions.

Therefore, the division is offering training courses to adapt work conditions to the physical and psychological nature of human. It also provides the techniques of ergonomic interventions used for creating a comfortable workplace.

Work Environment Control

The aim of the training course of this division is to obtain the necessary knowledge and techniques to control a hazardous environment and to create a preferable work environment. Therefore, the division is offering training courses to measure hazardous factors (toxic gases, organic solvents, particles, noises, vibrations, radiation, etc.) in the work environment and to evaluate the possible health effects caused by these factors. It also provides training courses in the techniques used to improve the work environment based on the results of the Working Environment Measurement.
